We know the current health crisis is on everyone's minds and everyone is trying to find a balance between panic and social responsibility. In times of uncertainty, we look to the national and local experts to give us guidance on how to best respond. Currently, the Center for Disease Control and our local health department are asking communities to minimize large gatherings of people. In response to these recommendations from our national and local experts, Thrive feels it is socially responsible to rework the format of our upcoming Lily Ball. Instead of bringing together hundreds of our biggest fans to celebrate the impact Thrive has in our community we will be hosting this event virtually. The Lily Ball is Thrive's biggest fundraising event and we rely on these funds to operate our 5 signature programs but our top priority continues to be the health of the kids and families in our community and beyond. We hope that you all will continue to support this event and we will be sending out additional information about how you can be involved in our event online.
We also know that your business, your family and your networks are experiencing the ripple effects from this uncertainty. Thrive's top priority is ensuring our children and families have the resources they need. Our team will continue to be available to support your family with resources, ideas on how to talk to your children about this crisis, or any other challenges your family might be facing at this time.
We are grateful to live in a community that prioritizes taking care of people.
Stay well,
Your Thrive family
